Our Response to COVID-19
On Monday, March 23rd, our governor in Michigan ordered a shelter-in-place for all non-essential workers. The Executive Order went into effect at midnight on March 24th and we've been asked to stay at home until April 13th at 11:59 PM. Our team is still trying to make sense of the order and is doing everything we can to sort out the information in a timely manner.
What It Means
In an effort to slow down the virus and comply with government orders, we are no longer operating our business as usual. All non-essential boldSOCKS staff will work from home. The following exception does allow us to fulfill minimum basic operations, but we are limiting that to just fulfilling orders that come in through the site: "Staffing to allow maintenance of "minimum basic operations" for many employers, even if their companies are not considered "critical infrastructure" needed to "sustain or protect life." We've turned off all advertising and are focusing primarily on staying safe and protecting others.
New orders that come in through boldSOCKS.com from March 23rd to April 13th will be fulfilled as a "minimum basic operation" by one, isolated worker. Orders received could be slightly delayed due to the new restrictions and no expedited shipping options will be available to keep staff home and safe.
Customer service emails sent to support@boldSOCKS.com will continue to be monitored, but responses may be delayed. Please expect replies within 1-3 business days. We will do our best during this season to deliver top-notch service, but we are all stretched during this pandemic and ask for your grace.
Due to the nature of receiving returns, we ask that you please wait to send any returns until after April 13th at 11:59 as there likely will not be staff available to receive the return.
Our Retail Store
Until further notice, the store will be closed to all customers.
